Successful applicants
Successful applicants will be notified by email no later than Friday 18 August 2023.
All successful applicants will be required to agree to the following stipulations that accompany all MIGW events:
- Your event will be staged within the published dates of MIGW
- Your event will be self-funded and self-managed
- Your event will be of a high standard and align with the values and vision of MIGW including:
- accessibility
- safety
- sustainability
- Your event will align with one or more of MIGW’s three audience segments – games industry, education or public
- Your event will include a Welcome to Country or an Acknowledgement of Country at the commencement of the event
- Your event will not detract from or compete with any other MIGW event or activity
- Your event will have all necessary permits and comply with laws and regulations
- Your event will have appropriate images/illustrations or video to promote the event
- You will include the MIGW logo on your marketing collateral including but not restricted to; website, social media, printed material and third-party booking sites
- A representative from your event will undertake mandatory Bystander Training (provided by Creative Victoria)
- You agree to provide two (2) complimentary invitations to Creative Victoria
- You agree to provide official MIGW videographer and photographer access to the event for film production and photographic archival services
- You agree to participate in an event evaluation program should it be required.
