Join us for the thrilling King of Kart Tournament. This action-packed event is set to showcase the ultimate racing skills of 64 skilled competitors as the vie for the coveted title of King of Kart Champion. The stakes are high, with the winner being rewarded with a fantastic prize package including a brand-new Switch 2 Console, controller and a generous voucher.

Registration for the tournament is absolutely free, so don't miss your chance to participate in this exhilarating competition.

Even if you're not competing, there's plenty of excitement in-store for spectators as well. Enjoy retro gaming nostalgia with classic arcade games guaranteeing a fantastic atmosphere for all attendees.

Please note: registration does not guarantee you a place in the tournament. We expect a high volume of drop-offs from registration to attendance, so confirmation of registration requires you to:

  1. Submit Expression of Interest.
  2. Register in-person at Big Games Night Out on Thursday 9 October from 6pm until 8pm at The Nook in the Atrium (near the entrance of The Edge), Fed Square.
  3. Appear at your allotted time on Friday 10th October.

The first 64 people who register at Big Games Night Out will make the final 64 confirmed competitors. Doors open from 4pm, tournament starts from 5pm in The Edge.


Tournament Format

FFA Single Elimination, 64 players, 8 rounds of brackets

Each round of the bracket will consist of four cumulative races, and after the fourth race the top two players will advance to the next stage of the bracket and the bottom two will be eliminated.

If a tie occurs during bracket play and time permits, a tie-breaker race will be used to break the tie. If time does not permit, the best finish in the fourth race will break the tie.

Prizes will be awarded to the top three finishers in the Championship 4-race set!
