wobbly
Members of ACMI's Women, Trans, and Gender Diverse Gamers Club like to play wobblygames: games which embrace the misshapen marks of the hand of its maker, likefingerprints in clay. Against the received image of software as fundamentallymechanical—cold, metallic and smooth—these games uncover the spontaneous andorganic possibilities of digital code. In wobbly games, forms grow, oscillate and waver. And underneath these lively lines there are other waverings, where player-charactersencounter the uncertainties of selfhood, family, love and intimacy, ambivalence about theever-changing body, and indecision about growing up and growing old.
Your typical incremental family dinner table simulator where you play as a very bored child trying to speedrun the evening.
In the ocean depths, merpeople are evolving, and there are whispers of a new form of connection. Dive into deep waters, deeper desire, and trying to get over your ex in this hypnagogic 3D swimming adventure game and dating sim about separation and entanglement.
