| When should I arrive for Melbourne International Games Week? | Games Week takes place on 3 –11 October 2026. Depending on the events you wish to attend will determine your arrival date. If you are travelling internationally, please consider giving yourself at least one day to acclimatise to the time zone before your event starts. Check the calendar of events to determine your travel dates. |
| How can I travel within Melbourne during Games Week? | Melbourne has a public transport system including trains, trams, metros and buses. You can travel on public transport using a Myki card that you can purchase at a train station, 7-eleven or Melbourne Airport. You can also download your card ahead of your trip and add it to your Google Wallet. Please note: you can only use credit and debit cards on trams and trains within Melbourne (not buses or VLine trains). We recommend purchasing a Myki card for ease of use and access. |
| How do I travel between Melbourne Airport and Melbourne CBD? | Melbourne (Tullamarine) Airport has a SkyBus Service, which operates a direct bus from all terminals to Southern Cross Station. Alternatively, you can book a rideshare or taxi from the airport directly to your hotel. |

| Where does Games Week take place? | Games Week events take place at a number of different venues across Melbourne. Some events are also hosted as online or hybrid online events. Most events are centered in the Melbourne CBD, with ACMI and the Melbourne Conference and Exhibition Centre hosting multiple flagship events. However, there are a number of events that are hosted outside the CBD, including Bunjil Place. |
| Are there visa requirements for attending Games Week? | Visa requirements vary depending on your nationality and the duration of your stay in Australia. It is essential to check the visa requirements and apply for the appropriate visa well in advance of your travel dates. You can request a Visa Letter from your event organiser if you are a speaker or participant. |

| I am speaking or participating in an event: Who do I contact if my flights are delayed or I suspect I will be late to attend my performance or showcase? | Please immediately contact your event organiser if anything will impact your participation in an event.
