‘Buru and The Old People’ comes to ACMI for the Games Week Showcase. This special edition showcase highlights Elfcat Studio and their exciting new game.
On Tuesday 6 October, ‘Buru and The Old People’ will take over 10 screens at ACMI in a free, pop-up exhibition. Open to all audiences, this upcoming game showcases First Nations storytelling through the eyes of Bururrgan (Buru).
Buru, the white ibis, is the titular main character in this narrative-driven adventure game rich in Indigenous storytelling. Players can explore the vibrant Australian-inspired landscapes, yarn with quirky townsfolk, and encounter D&D inspired mini-games as they discover the connection between the characters and the land.
