IGDA Melbourne's Industry Assist program provides Games Week event tickets at no cost to members of the games industry who have been impacted by layoffs, studio closures, or general economic conditions.
IGDA Melbourne is pleased to announce the Industry Assist program for Games Week 2026. This program provides Games Week event tickets at no cost to members of the games industry who have been impacted by layoffs, studio closures, or general economic conditions.
Industry Assist for 2026 has 10 places available, and includes tickets to:
- GCAP
- AGDAs
- Technically Games: Lightning Talks
- Megadev
- AGDAs
- Technically Games: Lightning Talks
- Megadev
We will be prioritizing applications based on need, seniority and experience. We encourage people to also apply directly for GCAP Assist, which is open to a broader range of applicants.
You do not have to reside in Victoria to apply, but you must be able to attend Games Week in-person.
Applications close 10th September 5:00pm. Applicants will be notified of the outcome on 21st September.
This program is directly funded through Megadev. For those of you who have purchased a Megadev ticket, thank you - your support enables people to attend Games Week who would otherwise not be able to go.
