For the first time ever, Games Week is offering a universal, industry networking platform for all industry festival attendees. MeetToMatch will be available to any games professional heading to Games Week regardless of whether they plan to attend a ticketed event.
This landmark initiative comes to Games Week to elevate opportunities for all indie developers, game makers, creatives, publishers, employers and those seeking professional development. Connecting attendees from all industry events and offering them the chance to prepare weeks in advance by booking meetings, planning their approach and securing their calendar.
The collaboration with MeetToMatch sets a new benchmark for creating meaningful opportunities for Australian games professionals. MeetToMatch is internationally recognised as the industry standard meeting platform, allowing guests new to Australia and the Melbourne development scene to seamlessly connect with locals.
How does it work?
- Search other attendees through a dedicated games industry tagging system
- Booking meetings in dedicated meeting spaces
- Book meetings at local venues and official Meeting Points around the precinct
- Connect with fellow developers, game makers, investors etc
- Add games to the Showcase section
Alongside this unprecedented approach to networking, MeetToMatch will have Meeting Points at venues across the city, to suit all schedules and locations from South Wharf to Federation Square and Collingwood.
Free-to-use meeting spaces will be available to participants at ACMI to support face-to-face conversations throughout the festival.
