Be part of Melbourne International Games Week 2024
Melbourne International Games Week’s (MIGW) 10th edition is taking place from 5 October - 13 October 2024, and people from all facets of the games community – developers, publishers, educators, studios, businesses and more – are invited to be part of the action.
Expressions of interest are now open to join this year’s program of satellite events, spanning workshops, exhibitions, live demos, talks and everything in between.
As MIGW aims to deliver a diverse schedule that caters to a broad audience, priority will be given to events that align with the core pillars: Industry, Public Engagement (games lovers!), and Education. Events can be live, online or hybrid and as MIGW celebrates games in all forms, events focused on digital and non-digital games are eligible.
MIGW is the largest digital games event in the Asia-Pacific and an opportunity for Victoria’s renowned local games sector to showcase its strengths on the world stage.
With events and activities spanning developer conferences and award shows to PAX Aus, Australia’s largest games event, the action-packed week brings speakers and games publishers from across the globe to Melbourne and also gives enthusiasts the chance to see, and play, the latest games and meet the people behind them.
Last year MIGW attracted a record 110,000 attendees at in-person events and over one million from across the globe through online events.
MIGW is a Victorian Government initiative designed to bolster our state’s thriving games sector, build the careers of local industry and celebrate the many ways games intersect with and create lasting impacts across health, education, defence and more.
