A LOT of concept art goes into the making of the video games we play. From the characters we play as to the environments we explore, Concept artists are the cornerstone of establishing how a game looks and feels.
As part of Games Week, Melbourne Artist & Animator MARC-O-MATIC is running SKETCH QUEST. A Concept Art Contest in partnership with XPPen, awarding two Graphics Tablets to the most interesting ideas and sketches in the categories of Character Design and Environment Design.
We want to see Interesting Ideas from you and drawn by YOU. They can be as simple as a napkin sketch or detailed illustration, But more importantly we want to see your process and a description of your idea!
Winners of each category will receive a 14’ Inch Artist Pro (Gen2) Graphics Display Tablet by XP-PEN where they can take their ideas and sketches to the next level.
Deadline for Entries is 11 October (AEST) and winners will be announced October 13.
